We strongly encourage you to educate yourself to the homeschooling laws for our state. A great place to start is by clicking here for our reference information. We are here to help and show you what your responsibilities are to the state as well as to your child with regards to homeschooling.
Our comprehensive Sprout Program seeks to further explore the workings of the 7 to 11 year old world through small group tutoring classes, homework assignments, enrichment activities, family adventures*, and exciting Clubs, which give your student a valuable educational experience. Clubs offer further enrichment and are held on Fridays. Elective* classes will be offered daily following the end of the Sprout Program. Elective classes such as Piano, Drum, Flute, Art and Guitar lessons are also available and will be scheduled as there is interest. We believe that our specially designed elementary Sprout Program permits creativity and flexibility in the educational process. This helps us to reach students of all learning types whether they are visual learners, auditory learners, kinesthetic learners or a mixture of all learning types. While we use some of the typical classroom teaching tools, such as periodic testing, rote memorization, we know that children are still children and will learn best if they are nurtured and encouraged while being challenged academically at their own level in non-traditional ways. To that end, we offer four levels of language arts, math and science classes. . Upon beginning our program, you may choose to have your child given an assessment to determine the level of curriculum best suited for them. This is, of course, offered at an additional cost.
Our Sprout Program is so successful because children are not assigned to classes based upon their age or their last completed “grade”. They are placed in classes where they will thrive academically. We have found that this approach challenges the child rather than frustrate them by forcing them to fit where they do not belong.
